The Universal Studios Tour is a tram tour included with theme park admission. Comedian Jimmy Fallon is the video host of the tour. The star of “late Night with Jimmy Fallon” introduces entertaining clips seen on HD monitors in the trams to augment the live Studio Tour guide narration.
You’ll go behind-the-scenes on the legendary Tour to explore Hollywood’s most famous back lot in the world’s largest working movie studio.
But first... You have to wait in line. The trams hold a lot of people so the line moves pretty quickly, especially if you have a "Front of the Line Pass".
If you can...try sitting on the far left or the far right of the tram. You'll be able to see everything from anywhere in the tram but you'll get much better photos when you're not trying to reach over someone's head!
And they're off! This is the view you see when leaving the tram station.
These trams are looong!
Built with creative consultation from Steven Spielberg himself, you’ll visit 13 new city blocks on four acres of the historic studio lot in the largest set construction project in studio history.
Check out these photos I took of the back lot. Do you recognize any of them in movies or TV shows? These buildings are pretty impressive in person.
And did you know? Some of them have paintings of windows and doors on them, they're just flat walls! That blew me away! I didn't even realize it till our host, Jimmy Fallon, pointed it out. Amazing!
This one below is the building from Back to the Future with Michael J. Fox. Too bad I was sitting on the wrong side of the tram for this shot! You'll also get a chance to see some pretty famous cars from various movies and television shows.
You'll also see:
………..and much much more!
