Probably the largest water park in Southern California is Raging Waters San Dimas, And the most popular! I have to say, I was truly impressed with this park. There is so much going on and it’s so big!
They’ve got Rides, Slides, Waves, Rivers, Pools, Kiddie Slides and Dining and Snack areas. You can spend a day here easily. They have two different types of cabanas you can rent out for the entire day as well.
Birthdays? You bet! Four different party packages to choose from. They also hold special events so check the official website (link is below) if you don’t want to show up on a day with school buses full of little ones.
Rides and Slides.
Raging Waters San Dimas offers some pretty exciting rides. Body Slides to Tube Slides to Extreme Body Slides. Whoa! Scary! Some of the names of their slides are: Thunder Rapids, Neptune’s Fury, Drop Out, Tunnel of Terror, Ragin’ Racer, Dark Hole, The Vortex, High Extreme and The Bermuda Triangle. They even sound scary!
Splash Island Adventure a family-oriented tropical-themed adventure which features 12 levels and 75 activities. Yes, this is the one that has a 1,000 gallon bucket on top of a 5 story tower that tips hundreds of gallons of water over the whole attraction every few minutes.
Lily Pads Rows of pads floating on the top of the water with ropes up above. The challenge is to maintain your balance while trying to get across the whole thing.
Wave Cove This million gallon wave pool produces three foot waves every 12 minutes. It’s pretty cool! The cove is in a beach like setting and you can wade with or without inner tubes.
Amazon Adventure Want to bask lazily in the sun while coasting around an endless waterway? This Tropical River at Raging Waters San Dimas is three feet deep, 18 feet wide and a quarter mile long. Get a raft and jump in!
Flow Rider Cow-a-Bunga Baby! Ever wanted to try surfing? Well now you can at Raging Waters San Dimas. Feel the power of the ocean as 36,000 gallons of water flow under you a minute!
Kiddie Slides
Volcano Fantasea Kids and Adults can glide down twisting slides and climb through a giant volcano towering 40 feet over water.
The Little Dipper Here you’ll find fountains, wading pools, waterfalls and miniature slides for the little ones.
Kid’s Kingdom For kids only! Slip down slides, shower under waterfalls, swing from bars and play about in a maze of plastic tunnels and tubes. Kid’s Kingdom at Raging Waters San Dimas is a 30,000 square foot water playground!

Cabana Rentals are available at this park. There are two types. Standard and Premium. There is only about a $20 difference but I think that’s because they are both very similar. You get a few more chairs and a larger table with the premium cabana. Prices can range anywhere from $85.00 to $170.00 depending on weekday / weekend.
Admission
Raging Waters San Dimas has a General Admission (for people 48” tall and over), a Junior Admission (for people under 48” tall) and a Senior Admission (for people 60 plus years young). They also offer season passes and online specials.

Raging Waters is located in San Dimas approximately 20 minutes from the Anaheim/Disneyland area and 30 minutes from downtown Los Angeles.
Los Angeles/Santa Monica:Take the 10 Freeway East to the 57 North. Exit Raging Waters Drive. Turn Left and follow the signs.
San Bernardino/Ontario:Take the 10 Freeway West to the 57 North. Exit Raging Waters Drive. Turn Left and follow the signs.
San Diego:Take the 5 Freeway North to the 57 North. Exit Raging Waters Drive. Turn Left and follow the signs.
Newport Beach:Take the 55 Freeway North to the 5 North to the 57 North. Exit Raging Waters Drive. Turn Left and follow the signs.
Long Beach:Take the 710 Freeway North or the 605 North to the 10 East to the 57 North. Exit Raging Waters Drive. Turn Left and follow the signs.
